Winter Weather Advisory issued December 15 at 3:10PM EST until December 16 at 12:00PM EST by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC
…WINTRY MIX EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY…
.Light precipitation will develop late tonight and spread across
the region through Wednesday morning. Cold air will support a
wintry mix for much of the North Carolina mountains and adjacent
foothills, with a brief period of freezing rain for other areas.
* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow or sleet
accumulations of a trace and ice accumulations of a light
glaze.
* WHERE…Habersham County.
* WHEN…From midnight tonight to noon EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.
