HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. – Two Northeast Georgia residents were arrested on drug charges Wednesday night outside Cornelia.
Jeremy Keith May, 34, of Demorest, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

He also faces multiple outstanding out-of-county arrest warrants.
Also arrested was Meagan Brooke Hutcheson, 25, of Cleveland, who also was charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

The arrests occurred as May was about to enter the Dollar General store on Pea Ridge Road and involved the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Habersham County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit, including K9s.
