Torchkids Prepared Backpacks of School Supplies

We would like to give a huge shout out to the Torchkids at The Torch Church for all of their hard work! They worked very hard on preparing lots and lots of backpacks full of school supplies for students all over Habersham County! As you can see, the Torchkids absolutely packed this patrol car.
This donation, along with other donations from the Sheriff’s Office and Family Connection allowed us to take approximately 350 backpacks full of supplies to schools throughout the county.
If you know a student or family in need of school supplies, please contact your school’s counselor. All donations during our school supply drive are spread out to every school in the county before school begins. The Sheriff’s Office, Family Connection, and The Torch hope these donations can help families in need throughout our community.
